One of the most iconic covers of the 1970s is this one from BATMAN #253 in which the Caped Crusader meets the Dark Knight of Justice-- his very inspiration! In this great cover by Mike Kaluta. This is the original one of a kind cover proof from the production department-- measures an oversized 12x16 inches and in really excellent condition, which is extremely rare.
Production art was shot from the originals and then enhanced with paste up techniques and used to create the final artwork for a particular book cover, again, in this case, Batman #253.
